Tell her

She aches for you

Tell her

She waits in perpetual darkness

Tell her

A rippling moondrop

Eludes her grasp

Tell her

Let your sunrays pierce the night,

the deafening glare of a dozen steam-trains thunder straight into her heart,

bound and blinded.

Tell her

Let there be peace

Tonight.

I welcome comments on my poems. ย I’m starting out by writing a one-liner as a title, and then letting the poem grow from that. ย Feel free to grow your own from ‘Tell her’ and drop a link here to share if you wish.

Feel free to drop by my other blogs Wildersoul Colouring Book, and Wildersoul Rainbows with my more colourful artwork and photography.
