Poetry in progress…

Okay – this is from Kira’s Wordle Wednesday poetry prompt which is way cool.  I’m going to go through editing it, and show the editing in progress…. dunno why…. what do you think?  I’m calling it my poem therapy!

—-here’s the finished version:

female mind wandered
sexual proximity turning commentary
around
tenderly obedient…
sexual healing
making desire
constant
respect
female
mind

——- and here is the first gathering of words from the prompt….

—- all right here comes the first edit….

—happy – trying out a variation…

—that’ll do. 🙂

I like this prompt at http://wrestling-life.com/2013/06/05/wordle-wednesdays-6/

It’s the first time I’ve spent a bit of time editing one, it was an interesting process… quite liked it!

  1. I was going to give it a try this week but my mind refused to cooperate. I like what you came up with. Nice! Mary

  2. I really enjoyed having you show us your creative editing process. Thank you for sharing this poem with all of us! I’ve been using poem therapy for months on my blog and it has been a wonderful cathartic step in my recovery.

    • I think it’s going to be the next step in mine! Thanks for sharing your poemtherapy with us, and making a special place to gather!

      • Thank you for your drawings. I can’t tell you how much they are helping me. I colored one last night instead of giving into temptation! Thank you

      • OH my goodness, that has given me goosebumps all up my arms! I am humbled indeed! You are most welcome, and I am feeling tears coming up from my heart and brimming by my eyes now! (sniff) You’ve not only touched my heart, you seem to have turned it into a soppy sponge that needs wringing out! –[wordless… speechless… going to make a hot drink to take away the goosebumps!) if I knew how to insert hearts here I would send you a big bundle of them! 🙂

      • Smiling…caps lock, Alt, and the number 3 on the number key pad (not the ones above the keyboard) will give you hearts! It is your drawings that give me the inspiration for the poems. So, technically it is a team effort!! ♥

      • Love being part of this team (insert heart heart heart) I must have a different sort of keyboard – or it could be my operating system…. doesn’t do hearts! 😦
(Just imagine them winging their way across to you!) 😉

      • HeeHee!! (♥♥♥♥♥♥) <—— me catching them! I am enjoying it as well. Keep drawing so I can keep coloring 🙂

      • hee hee hee – teleported hearts! 😀
I will keep drawing! How could I not! If my blog falls down around my ears, I’ll come sit in a corner of yours and draw! 😉

      • You will always be welcomed on any of my blogs. I would still love for you to do some artwork on the MisAdventures of Vanilla page 🙂

      • Oh goodness! I am a little overloaded at present – and have written that into my ‘to do list’ in my black spiral notebook. I’m collaborating on a children’s nonsense poem by Chris at cpsingleton42.wordpress.com. He is quite a prolific poet too! (with a heart!) I’m on to number 3, and the MisAdventures of Vanilla is number 3b. 🙂 I will get there! 🙂 Looking forward to it!

      • I could always post one of your drawings (pre-coloring) and then a pic of my coloring and poem. If you be okay with me posting your drawing on the Vanilla blog. I would of course be coloring and writing as Vanilla! L

      • I would be very happy with all of that 🙂 The time is in the reading of the story so I know what to draw! 😉 I will get there. Set me a short prompt to draw something and if it’s suitable then please by all means go ahead and post it, etc. 🙂
        (hearts)
Anasera (that’s my real vanilla essence!) hehe

      • maybe something for her daughter, Lily. We will figure it out as we both have time. Just let me know when your schedule opens up some 🙂 xoxo

      • I will certainly keep in touch! 🙂
